The Year of Big Moves and No Ideas
2011 has been an eventful year for me. I deem it “The Year of Big Moves and No Ideas”…mainly because after graduating from undergrad and backpacking through Costa Rica for 2 weeks in 2010, I moved to my brother’s couch in NYC, got dumped by my boyfriend, got sick and rejected from jobs (A LOT), got my dream job as a Soccer Coach and another job as a server at an awesome Organic Burger place (Bare Burger), met some amazing people, played so much soccer I loved it, got back together with my boyfriend, moved into a sublet for 3 months, moved out of the sublet and back onto my brothers couch, freaked out a lot about what I was going to do with my life, traveled to Mexico for an amazing all-inclusive resort week with friends, traveled to Israel for an amazing time with family, freaked out some more about my future, moved to Florida again, started working out a lot more, got a new job, still playing a lot of soccer, starting to work out a lot more again, fell in love with my boyfriend all over again, and got accepted into Graduate school beginning in January 2012.
Thus you have, The Year of Big Moves and No Ideas…
And Begin:
January 12, 2011. Following a giant snow storm- a giant move to a “The Concrete Jungle.” And a jungle it was indeed.
February 2011:
An awful idea of love and a whole lot of being sick….but the good news is that is when I started one of the coolest jobs ever. Soccer Coach!
March 2011:
I got a job at Bare Burger and made some good friends there…
Spent a lot of money on plane tickets this month. A nice warm visit to Florida and some enjoyment of friends, physical lovin’, and the beach!
April 2011:
My brother got naturalized and officially became a U.S. Citizen!
May 2011
Boyfriend came to visit me in NYC. The Spring weather was amazing.
June 2011:
My nephews 1st birthday! The SSS boat cruise for being awesome Soccer Coaches! My amazing trip to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico with my boyfriend and 4 others friends!
July 2011:
My trip to Israel spent with family and the oh so lovely beaches.
August 2011:
Having fun at the park and then saying goodbye to awesome friends that I will know and keep forever. And nephew time!
September 2011:
New Orleans to celebrate Tay’s birthday. =] and Destin to watch his volleyball tournament.
October 2011:
Halloween and friendship. <3
November 2011:
Soccer, Soccer, Soccer, food, loving, and WORK!
December 2011:
Saying goodbye to my brother, sister-in-law and nephew as they return to Israel permanently. Reuniting with my old co-workers/close friends in NYC, Hanukkah, Holiday Parties, and lots of drunkenness… =]
